Ashoka College of Education is a college at Nashik, offering 4 years integrated B.Sc.B.Ed. & B.A.B.Ed courses. It is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and is recognized by National Council of Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.) and Maharashtra Government. It prepares students for a Bachelor degree of Science (B.Sc.)/Arts (B.A.) & Education (B.Ed.). It is a private, permanently unaided minority college. The institute was established in 2008.

It has completed 14 years of service. It was started with the sole purpose of creating well trained techno savvy teachers with sound subject knowledge who would be familiar with the latest methodology of teaching. ACE is committed to impart need based, practical education to the students. It believes in holistic development of students. ACE believes in creating teachers who are strongly rooted in Indian culture or they can continue with their further study of M.A., M.Sc., and further research. It provides value based innovative education and endeavours to create responsible citizens who are aware of the multiculturalism of Indian society.

ACE is known to provide the best of facilities for its students. It is blessed with a conducive environment keeping in mind the need of the present with a futuristic outlook. Our Objectives for Teachers Education

• To prepare teachers for helping physical, mental, social, emotional, aesthetic and linguistic development of student by means of individual and group activities.
• To impart them relevant knowledge of child psychology, basics of cultural anthropology, sociology, Environment awareness, Indian heritage and students’ environment.
• To develop among them the capacity and desire for obtaining parental cooperation and establish coordination with the agencies working in similar areas.
• To enable them to prepare, select and use different kinds of materials at low cost with a focus on sensory and motor development of student.
• To empower them to develop self-concept, self-esteem and the art of self-expression and sense of discrimination and appreciation.
• To develop environmental awareness among students.
• To inculcate the art of living good life.

Placements

We hold campus interviews for our student - teachers and we have student teachers' placement committee in place to assist campus interviews. We are also planning to engage ourselves with overseas institutions collaborate with recruiting bodies by ascertaining their personnel and professional requirements (skills), promote several value-adding skills courses to our teacher portfolios intending to empower them for self-employment and marketing.

Scholarships

Ashoka Education Foundation the mother institution of AICESR and ACE awards scholarships for the meritorious students as per its policy and norms. There are special scholarships for those students who achieve distinctions. The wards of AEF staff and the staff itself enjoy the concession in fees as per their service tenure.
