Introduction

An alumni association is an association of graduates or, more broadly, of former students (alumni). Alumni associations are mainly organised around universities or departments of universities, but may also be organised among students that studied in a certain country. Alumni Association of Ashoka is Established in 2013.

Objectives of Alumni Association:

• To provide a forum for the Members of the Alumni Association to interact amongst themselves as also with the Principal, Teachers and the present students.
• To promote friendly association between them.
• To disseminate knowledge and skills for the mutual benefit of the Members as also for the benefit of the College.
• To undertake -Intellectual activities, Academic activities, Social service etc. for the benefit of the Members as also of the College and for the society at large, as detailed under:
• To create a website of the Association and upload the same on to the Internet so that relevant information pertaining to the affairs of the Association, can be made available for the benefit of all the Members.
• To conduct academic meets such as conferences / workshops / seminars / symposia / lectures by eminent personalities from various walks of life etc. for the Members as also for the present students and/or teachers of the College on various current subjects/topics of interest and relevance.
• To publish e-bulletins highlighting the activities and achievements of the Association.
• To undertake any other activity in accordance with and in furtherance to the objectives mentioned at 1, 2, 3 and 4 above.
• With the prior permission of the College’s Principal, the premises and/or facilities may be used / utilized by the Association for holding/conducting its official programs, functions or activities, in accordance with the Association’s objectives.

Employers Need

Alumni talk series was scheduled in the month of march 2021.

The 1st Day of series was scheduled on 13th March 2021, on the topic "Employers Need". Ms. Mona Shaikh alumni of BBA(CA) batch 2011-14 has shared her views with students.

Passion: A Profession

The 2nd day of Alumni talk series was conducted on 20th March 2021 on the Topic "Passion: A Profession". The alumni Ms. Rasika Natu of BSc (CS) of the batch 2010-13 was invited. She has judged the virtual BBA Talent Search and articulated on the topic.

Family Business Management

The last and final day of Alumni Talk Series was on 27th March 2021 on the topic "Family Business Management". The session was conducted by Alumnus Mr. Yogeshwar Dande of BBA 2014-17 Batch. The session was interview based wherein the most frequently asked questions on the topic were interrogated with Alumnus.

2) Orientation program of FYBBA CA and FYBSc CS on 6^th July 2019- Guidance by Alumni, Prerana Patil, Nikita Karda,Soni Choudhary, Chetan Dhole

3) Induction program of FYBBA/ FYBBA (CA) and FYBSc CS on 18^th July 2019- Guidance by Alumni Dhruv Patodia,Ms. Shivani Nagdev

4) Session on Soft Skill and Personality development conducted on 16^th July by Alumni Ms. Rashi Mehani.

5) Session on Interpersonal Relationship conducted on 6^th Sept by Alumni Mr. Aman Verma.

6) “Gharba Raas” was held on 9^th  Oct 2019.  The objective of the event was to celebrate the event along with donation as charity to the needy. Alumni Ms. Dhruvi Shah and Preeti Sonar invited as a Judge for the event.

7) Seminar on “Introduction to Blockchain” conducted by Alumni Mr. Paras Kale, CEO RWaltz – A leading Blockchain Company on 14^th Jan 2020.

8) Seminar on “Android” conducted by Alumni Mr. Gaurav Gaikwad

9) Session on “Corporate Finance and Project Work” conducted by BBA Alumni Ms. Litsy Tomy on 29th Jan 2020
